Swap Between Wallets
What is Swap?
Section titled “What is Swap?”Swap lets you move value between your Cash Wallet and Bitcoin Wallet inside the Flash app.
Use it when you want to:
- Move from USD to Bitcoin
- Move from Bitcoin back to USD
- Keep your money in the wallet that matches how you want to use it
How Swap Works
Section titled “How Swap Works”Flash shows you the sending account, the receiving account, the amount you are converting, the conversion fee, and the exchange rate before you confirm.
Example
Section titled “Example”- Swap from Cash Wallet to Bitcoin Wallet
- Or swap from Bitcoin Wallet to Cash Wallet
The app calculates the conversion in real time so you can see what you will send and what you will receive before you confirm.
Before You Swap
Section titled “Before You Swap”Make sure you understand the difference between your wallets:
- Cash Wallet = USD, shown in your local currency
- Bitcoin Wallet = BTC / sats
If you want a refresher, see:
- Open the Flash app
- Tap Swap
- Choose which wallet you are sending from and which wallet you are receiving into
- Enter the amount
- Review the conversion fee and exchange rate
- Tap Confirm
Important Notes
Section titled “Important Notes”- Swap is a conversion between your own Flash wallets
- It is not the same as Top Up or Cash Out
- If you want to add cash from a bank or remove cash to a bank, use the Top Up or Cash Out guides
