Sending Bitcoin

Flash makes it easy to send Bitcoin to anyone, anywhere. There are three ways to send:

1. Send to a Flash Username

The simplest way to send to another Flash user.

1. Tap Send in the Flash app
2. Type the recipient’s Flash username
3. Enter the amount
4. Review and tap Confirm

The payment is instant and free between Flash users.

2. Send via Lightning Invoice

To pay a Lightning invoice from any wallet:

1. Tap Send
2. Paste the Lightning invoice or scan the QR code
3. Review the amount and fee
4. Tap Confirm

Lightning payments settle in seconds with minimal fees.

3. Send On-Chain Bitcoin

To send to a standard Bitcoin address:

1. Tap Send
2. Paste the Bitcoin address or scan the QR code
3. Enter the amount
4. Review the network fee
5. Tap Confirm

On-chain transactions may take 10 to 60 minutes to confirm depending on network conditions.

Tips

• Double-check the recipient before confirming — Bitcoin transactions cannot be reversed
• Lightning is faster and cheaper for everyday payments
• On-chain is better for larger amounts or when the recipient does not have Lightning
